Sharon Birchal MBIAE

Meet The ELG Team

I studied Electrolysis and Beauty Therapy at South Cheshire College, gaining my City and Guilds core qualifications in 1989. Since then, I have worked in salons, for well-known skincare companies and in my own businesses across the North West, before establishing my home here in Penketh.

I hold further qualifications in Advanced Electrolysis and Aesthetic Skin Treatments. I regularly attend courses, seminars, and trade shows all over the UK to update my skills and stay ahead of industry trends. I also host the annual North West Professional Electrolysis Workshop, where colleagues can meet and learn from one another in a supportive environment.

I’m a member of several professional bodies, including the British Institute and Association of Electrolysis (BIAE), the British Beauty Council, the British Association of Beauty Therapists and Cosmetologists (BABTAC) and the Beauty Guild.

I have also recently founded the Electrolysis Legacy Group to educate, promote and support the electrolysis industry and encourage others to take up this hugely rewarding career.

Abigail is my co-pilot, collaborator, and friend: I’m privileged to have her working alongside me to make the ELG a source of information and support for everyone.

I appreciate how important it is to give back to your industry and that is how I came to join Sharon in her mission to set up the Electrolysis Legacy Group. we want to support current and future industry professionals and the general public who may wish to receive electrolysis treatment and work within the electrolysis industry themselves.

I feel very lucky to be working alongside Sharon who like me is so dedicated and passionate about the Electrolysis industry.
