PCOS is now PMOS!
PMOS stands for Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome, which is the official updated global name for the condition previously known as Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). This name change was adopted to better reflect that the condition is a whole-body hormonal and metabolic disorder rather than a disease defined by ovarian cysts.
